Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has a rich and long history. Founded over a thousand years ago by four renowned wizards, Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Helga Hufflepuff, the school was built to provide magical education to students from across England.

The four founders chose a location in Scotland for its natural beauty and magical energies. They divided students into four houses based on their characteristics and personalities:
